‘Reframing what is left behind'

I am drawn to materials that have been discarded, lost, or abandoned, and often destined for landfill. My work explores what is often left behind: not only the clothes we wear and dispose of, but also the subtle marks created during production and throughout a garment’s life. I am fascinated by the traces of wear and tear—the history embedded in the fibres, leaving unique and often beautiful imperfections.

I transform fabric remnants and discarded pieces into new artworks that celebrate the second-hand. Rooted in craft and guided by circularity, my practice explores stitching, patchwork, piecing, and laser etching. Each piece invites reflection on more thoughtful ways of consuming and creating, transforming materials that honour their past while exploring new possibilities.
